Introduction:

25 hydroxy vitamin D3, also known as calcifediol, is the active metabolite of vitamin D3, has more physiological activity, and does not require hepatic metabolism. It not only has all the normal functions of vitamin D3, but also has the following unique features:

1. Because the dysfunction problem on the some human or animals\' liver sometimes, vitamin D3 can not be directly converted to 25 hydroxy vitamin D3. Even if the amount of vitamin D3 intake can not be absorbed, 25  hydroxy vitamin D3 can be an active substance bypassing into the liver, absorption for human or animal directly. 

2. When 25 hydroxy vitamin D3 used on animals, birds, it can promote bone development, such as production bone density and reduction in osteoporosis and cage layer fatigue, improve eggshell quality and reduce eggshell breakage rate of 2%, increase hatching rate of 1-3% , extend the laying period: In a complete breeding period, each hen will hatch more than 2-4 eggs at least.

3. When 25hydroxy vitamin D3 is used on the pig , it can improve the semen quality, improve the fertilization rate of prevention paralysis caused by calcium and phosphorus metabolism and split hoof, reduce the mortality rate of 8% of the pigs, reduce the three-day interval from weaning the breeding, increase 0.5 of piglets weaning per year. 

4. Compared to vitamin D3, 25 hydroxy vitamin D3 and  is less injury for intestinal to absorb.
